I was called to a home to check on a furnace that was not coming on. Upon arrival, I checked the thermostat and found that it was calling for heat. I then checked the gas valve and noticed that it was not on the on position. I put it on and noticed that the furnace started to come on. I checked the outdoor unit and noticed that the outdoor motor was indicating oil stain, which is an indication that the motor is going out. I checked the temperature and found that the supply was blowing out at 56 degrees. I checked the electrical components and found that everything was within range. I replaced the outdoor motor and the furnace is working at this time.
